FAQ
What kind of coaching should I choose if I have issues both as a couple partner and as a parent ?
Sometimes both are linked. In this case, we will take time to review your issues and establish your priorities, knowing that very often progress in one area spontaneously leads to progress in the other.
As parents, we don't always agree on how to educate our children. How should we handle that situation ?
It is common for parents not to always agree on how to educate their children. However, disagreements should not be expressed or discussed in the presence of the child. Each parent must therefore support the authority of the other in front of the child, and can then express their disagreement outside the child’s presence. This allows us not to disqualify the authority of the other parent and to remain open to other points of view which are all sources of wealth for the child.
My teenager often goes out of his/her way : how can I handle that situation ?
While it is normal for a teenager to rebel and have difficulty controlling their emotions and words, the parent must stick to family rules, particularly those of non-violence. It is therefore necessary to firmly reiterate this prohibition by being exemplary yourself (without shouting or insulting in return), or even to introduce sanctions until your teenager manages to better control himself/herself. Adopt an attitude that is firm, loving and patient and do not hurt yourself with the words your teenager says. If you can’t do this, consult a Family Coaching specialist
